Project Introduction

DERCHI recently completed a residential windows and doors project for a brick home in Jersey Island. The project included custom entrance doors, casement windows, fixed glass panels, and transom windows for different areas of the house.

The homeowner wanted a clean and practical window and door solution that could improve natural light, support daily ventilation, and match the original style of the property. Since the house features a traditional red brick exterior, the window and door design needed to look bright, simple, and visually balanced.

A Clean Design for a Brick Residential Home

For this project, white-framed windows and doors were selected to create a fresh contrast with the red brick wall. The clean frame color helps brighten the exterior while keeping the overall appearance classic and suitable for the existing house.

The entrance area was designed with a glazed door, side glass panels, and upper fixed windows. This combination allows more daylight to enter the porch area and makes the entrance look more open and welcoming.

Custom Windows for Better Light and Ventilation

Inside the home, DERCHI supplied casement windows with fixed transom windows above. The casement windows provide practical ventilation for daily use, while the upper glass panels bring extra natural light into the rooms.

Several windows face the garden area, helping create a stronger connection between the indoor living space and the outdoor view. The large glass areas make the rooms feel brighter, more comfortable, and more open.
